What is the volleyball ?...
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. The objective of the game is to score points by grounding the ball on the opponent's court or by making the opponent commit a fault.
A rally begins with a serve, in which a player from one team hits the ball over the net and into the opponent's court. The opposing team must then use a combination of no more than three touches to return the ball over the net and into the opponent's court. A point is scored when the ball touches the ground on the opponent's court, or when the opponent commits a fault.
Some common faults in volleyball include touching the net, going under the net, carrying or lifting the ball, and committing a foot fault. Each team is allowed three touches to return the ball, and a player may not touch the ball twice in a row, unless it has been blocked by an opponent.
Volleyball can be played indoors or outdoors, on a variety of surfaces. The sport is popular all around the world, and there are many different levels of competition, from recreational to professional.
